At the Gamestop Shiny Pichu Event – Downloading the Shiny Pichu into your Pokemon D/P/Pl Games

And so we have ourselves yet another live Nintendo Event for our Pokemon games! This time, we head to a Gamestop store closest to my area… Fresh Meadows, New York!
Well, it’s somewhere in Oakland Gardens/Bayside area which is quite closer to me than the Toys ‘R’ Us I had attended last time was.
Anyhow, I decided to catch a bit of the atmosphere in this area as well, since it’s always nice to catch that kind of footage. But, this area was a bit slightly more rural and had more people around so I couldn’t really catch everything, just in case I might’ve gotten some complaints here and there. Of course we don’t want that happening, now do we? =P
So then, we head into the Gamestop store although I didn’t really catch a sign or anything, but I headed inside to try to download the event anyhow. Most of the time, the people haven’t got a clue what’s going on. But, there usually are signs around to help you out.
So, most Gamestop stores are kinda crowded out at times, so I picked this one so that wouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately, there are workers watching what you do in the store so I was unable to catch certain footage in the store (signs depicting of the Shiny Pichu Event and the release of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, which are both coming out, respectively, on Sunday, March 14th).
This Shiny Pichu downloadable event is available at Gamestop stores from and until the following dates:
From: January 30th.
Until: February 14th (Valentine’s Day)
And now, I show you how to actually download the event, which is in the video, but here’s a step by step process just in case:
Step by step:
1. Put in your Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum DS game, turn on your DS, and start your game.
2. Press Start at the “Press Start” introductory screen. After that, scroll down to select the option “MYSTERY GIFT”. If you do not have Mystery Gift and do not know how to get it, please consult my video “How to unlock Mystery Gift in Pokemon Platinum”.
3. Now, make sure that you have no more than 2 Wonder Cards saved. If you have 3, you’ll need to delete to make room to download the Wonder Card needed to operate this event. Select the option “CHECK CARD” and click on one of your saved Wonder Cards that you do not want to keep in order to make room for the Shiny Pichu Wonder Card. Just select “TRASH” and then “YES” to discard it.
4. Once you do all that, go back and select the option “RECEIVE GIFT”.
5. Select the option “GET VIA WIRELESS”, since this is a wireless download at Toys”R”Us. Select “YES”, when it says “DS Wireless Communications will be launched.”
6. Now, it will say “Searching for a gift. Please wait…”. When the proper event displays, “PIKACHU-COLORED PICHU!”, select “YES” to receive the gift.
7. Now watch as you receive the exclusive Shiny Pichu Wonder Card… At last, upon successfully receiving the gift, it will say, of course, “The gift has been received!”.
8. Now, just go to any Poke Mart to pick up the special Pichu, but that’s not all…
There’s more to this special Pokemon than it seems at first, although some or most of you may or may not already know the details. This special Pichu will unlock a special event in Pokemon Platinum, HeartGold, AND SoulSilver. When Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver are released, I will have footage on that as well.

P.S.: This event is downloadable for ALL three games: Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, AND Pokemon Platinum!!! As so, if I haven’t already mentioned it on here, on the video, or in the title.
And remember! This event is available only until…
February 14th! That’s Valentine’s Day. So, don’t forget!

Regigigas (USA NINTENDO EVENT)
The legendary Regigigas can be downloaded for free at any participating Toys R Us stores starting March 8th, 2009 to March 21st, 2009, the last day being the day before the anticipated next game, Pokemon Platinum will be release in America.
To get your Regigigas, make sure you have the Mystery Gift Option enabled. Make sure you have no more than 2 WonderCards in your game, then go to any participating TRU store, and get your very own Level 100 Regigigas! Ask the cashier for your free sticker, and if they have any left, the $5 coupon on a Pokemon game.
*You must get this rare download or else you cannot unlock the three Regis (Regirock, Registeel, and Regice) in the Platinum game. =D

Film 11 [Tour/Toys "R" Us/Gamestop] German Shaymin Event [HD]
Dieses Pokémon wurde in allen deutschen Gamestop und Toys “R” us Filialen und ausgewählten McDonalds Restaurants vom 25. Aprill bis zum 22. Mai für Pokémon Diamant und Perl verteilt.
Es wird auch auf der Pokémon Platin Launch-Party am 22. Mai in Köln verteilt. Dieses Shaymin schaltet die Gracidea in Pokémon Platin frei.
Obwohl die Verteilung am 25. April began, ist seine ID-Nummer 04019. Wenn man sich die PKM-Datei des Shaymins anschaut, sieht man, dass es anscheinend ein französiches Shaymin ist.
Das ist ein Fehler, den Nintendo of Europe bei dem Shaymin gemacht hat.

This Pokémon event was released at Gamestop, Toys “R” Us and selective McDonald’s all across the Germany from April 25th to May 22nd 2009 for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions. It was also released at the German Pokémon Platinum Launch Party in Cologne. This Shaymin unlocks the Gracidea in Pokémon Platinum. Even though the Pokémon was distributed starting from April 25th 2009, its ID is 04019. If you look at the Shaymin’s PKM file you will notice that the country of origin is FRANCE. This is an error that Nintendo of Europe made while creating the Shaymin.

Pokémon Platinum – Japanese Version: Receiving Oak’s Letter on Wi-Fi Mystery Gift for Shaymin
Hey there people! Excuse the bad quality of this video. All I want to show is how to receive the Oak’s Letter through Wi-Fi Mystery Gift. This is me receiving the Wi-Fi Mystery Gift: Oak’s Letter in my Japanese version of Pokémon Platinum. The gift is not shareable with any of the Pokémon games. I also show my 2 Rotom Wonder Cards. What I did to get the second one was clearing the ID of the first card so I could receive it a second time. Doing this one can receive same Pokémon over and over again or any gift. Imagine doing that at Toys R Us or Gamestop or anywhere else to receive same Pokémon again, lol. Thanks for watching.

How to get the Mystery Gift in Pokemon Emerald
***PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING***
The Mystery Gift is this thing to get events wirelessy. To activate it you must first be at a Pokemon Event which comes probably 2-3 times a year at your local Toys’r'Us or Gamestop. Then you must have a wireless adapter plug into your GBA which comes free if you buy a FireRed or Leafgreen. Third, go to the event location, go to Mystery Gift on your game, and hit Wonder Cards, then Wireless Communication. It will then automactically activate and bring up your event(Wonder News is something completly different that I still figuring out), and you have your event. Although I will say that they probably have stopped making events for Emerald/Firered/Leafgreen for one because D/P been out for 2 years now, and Platinum’s here, and second because the last event I heard of from those games was a Mew Event back in 2006/2007 so get Platinum everyone, its easily one of the best Pokemon games ever! XD
Hm Ok, Ive also been getting a lot of comments that say i cant get mystrey gift in ruby or sapphire. Mystrey Gift is only available in Firered/Leafgreen/Emerald/Diamond/Pearl/and Platinum. In Ruby and Sapphire its mystery event i think and to get that you need to go to the petalburg pokecenter(some people say you need the petalburg badge but i dont know) and there should be a dude beside the pc, go talk tohim and he should ask you to fill out a questionnaire. Fill in “Mystery Event is Exiciting”, and you should get the mystery event. I may make a vid to explain it better, anything for my fans XD
